#hellohilltop: Property Management Edition. We returned to Seattle today and discovered the duplex’s yard was full of weeds taller than @trevormruss! 😱🌿😳🌱😓 Spent the next 4 hours weeding in preparation for showing it to prospective tenants tomorrow. [AFTER] …now it’s a dining room! Yes, this is the amazingly the same room from the before shot. We cut the opening in the wall, replaced the horrible spiral staircase with real stairs up to the loft, and refinished the original fir floors from 1910. If this weren’t on the second floor, we would have refinished them everywhere, but it simply would have been too loud for the main floor tenants. #hellohilltop via Instagram http://ift.tt/1Hq67pL

Yesterday, we handed over the keys to the new tenants of our upper unit. This milestone has been three years in the making. The product of literal blood, sweat, and tears. This bedroom used to trigger nightmares. Now it’s an oasis we’re proud to rent out.
