We’ve been spending a lot of time at our duplex over the last week, cleaning things up between tenants. This has been one of the more “involved” turns we’ve ever done, including tackling the wildly overgrown yard and repainting the entire unit. As we were leaving the duplex late last night, I walked into the living room to discover the street lamp casting this haunting shadow through the window: the prior tenants had written their support on the front window with glass markers and hadn’t cleaned it off before they left. While we’ll clean everything else in the unit, I don’t think I can bring myself to remove such a critical message.
